Up before sunrise yesterday with the mission of taking photos of Sand Hill Cranes. Things did not go quite as planned. I took photos of a lot of stuff but very few of Cranes. Here are a few I did get. Their feathers are really a grey-blue color. The brown comes from the mud they rub into their feathers.
