Had 5 Bluebirds leave the nest this morning. Could not believe that 5 were stacked up in the nest box but one by one they left and landed in a nearby tree. It was enjoyable watching the male and female feed them then call to them over and over, I guess enticing them to leave the nesting box. One would leave and then another head would appear at the hole for 4 minutes or so, have a bite to eat and leave.

An awesome sequence of fine shots
These are great and so interesting.👍👍
It's like a time machine, here on the 45th parallel the bluebirds have just begun nest building and the morning greeted them with 17 degree F temperature. You have documented it well, congratulations!
Awesome photos, Jerry. I mean really awesome!!
