Being a guy, if I had to pick one it would be the Bates Motel. I don't believe that I would be Norman's type to get stabbed in the shower. The Overlook Hotel is just too darn cold in the winter and the snow if far too deep for my liking. Also, I'm not fond of ghosts.

Camp Crystal Lake is not a place one would want to go if they have dreams at night which Freddy enjoys entering and I dream every night without fail.

The Amityville House is where evil lives that the nitwit killed his family and tried to blame the shootings on his sister which he claims of course he had to kill her for killing all of them as well as to defend himself. Again, ghosts and I do not get along well.

Freddy hangs out on Elm Street...Jason Voorhees is who you'd have to worry about at the lake.

The Amityville house, as I lived on Long Island at the time of the murders and media events...
The Shining was actually done in two hotels, The Timberline Lodge on MT Hood, OR, was the exterior scenes, which was named the Overlook Hotel in the movie...
The interior scenes were of the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO...

Actually the interior shots were done on a soundstage but inspired by the Stanley hotel which was also the inspiration for the original novel.

I have spent many nights at Camp Crystal Lake (Boy Scout camp No-Be-Bo-Sco) as a scout in the 70s, and as a scout leader in the late 90s.

The Overlook, definitely, and I'd bring my ghost camera.

And which camera and lens would you take? Nikon or Canon? DLSR or mirrorless? Zoom or wide angle? Standard light or infrared? Be sure to charge your batteries.

None of them. They were movie sets not haunted houses.
