We’ve been in Hawaii the past several day, on the big island of Hawaii. We’re enjoying warm weather and no snow. I haven’t gotten a lot of photos, but I’ve managed to get a few of some flowers. Very nice flowers. Don’t know what they are, though. Taken with my iphone 11. I don’t know what this last one is, but it looks like a giant fern of some sort. I thought it was interesting. As dark as it was at the time, I was surprised it turned out well.

Beautiful set, Greg! I think the first two are hibiscus, the third might be the start of a bird of paradise. No idea on the last one.

The last image seems to be a fiddle head, which is what a fern looks like before it is totally opened.

Don't know the names of flowers but the colors are pretty nice! I'm pretty jealous that you are in Hawaii. :-)
How are things there with Covid? Things back to normal?

Hibiscus in first two. They come in multiple different colors and single and double blooms, normally lasting one day. Bird of paradise in 3rd. A diff variety. Looks like a double flower and then a fiddle leaf fern
Would imagine Hawaii is a tad warmer than Alaska.
