Have you thought about all the money he obtained “inappropriately” recently and has had to return about 1/2 of it already?
His efforts to make money out of being President failed due to his actions, it would seem. His numerous bankruptcies and tax issues speak to his business acumen more than anything else. His inability to make greater wealth has yet to be proven. He never released his tax returns leaves experts to only guess where he started and where he might now be. After tears we are told his returns from back then are still under audit. I am unsure where NY investigations into tax fraud will lead, but that, too, may have impacted his ability to “create” more wealth.
Other Presidents have made big money doing speaking engagements. I didn’t always think it was appropriate, but people who attended did and did not mind paying to hear someone they admired and respected talk. That is freedom in the USA.
