While getting out supplies to clean a sensor I came across an old friend, a Nikor 18-135 DX lens. This is the lens that sent me down the Nikon road. I had the choice between a Canon model forgotten and a Nikon D40xi. The Canon came with an 18-55 lens and the Nikon with the 18-135. Knowing that I would want the greater reach I went Nikon. I mounted the lens on my D7100 and took a few shots of flowers in our yard. The set-up really felt light compared with the D7100 and Tamron 18-400 I usually use.
