These beautiful flowers grow in our yard thanks to my wife who has somewhat of a green thumb. I have wanted for a while to present a series of photos from birth to death so to speak and the Agapantha plants won out. I used my trusty Nikon D800 with the even trustier Nikon 105mm f2.8 Micro lens. It does make for a great everyday lens. I hope you enjoy these.

Beautiful. How long was it from birth to death?

I photographed about 6-8 plants when they had blossoms or the photo I wanted. It is not all one plant. Actually all are doing just fine right now. There are probably 6-8 separate plants. Maybe I should have been more specific and pointed out a specific blossom but I might be here forever. I have fishing, hunting, shooting, photography, yard work, play time in Idaho starting next Wednesday. Hopefully I will find photos to submit from that part of the country as well as Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Utah.

Thanks for taking a look and for your comment.

Beautiful flowers and a nice photo essay on the cycle of the blooms. Well done.
