Interesting and effective technique, used judiciously. You execute well and the photos are attractive. IMO, It can get old pretty fast.

Thanks for your reply.
I agree with Quixdraw. There are some instances where this can be a very effective technique but it is not something to do a lot.
It's worth a try to try something different.

Anytime and always, just beware "the needle getting stuck in a groove". If you are post - vinyl, getting in a rut.
The concept is a good tool, but to my mind the color is applied unevenly in these images. I would rather see a whole single object in color standing out from the B&W image. Keep experimenting!
I really like the first one; the second, not so much because it doesn’t seem to have a point to it.
These are nice. Judicious use of colour. I really like the second one - it is quite abstract.

They're an aid to our focus - and beautiful ⭐
Very interesting application of a combo of monochrome and color
The carmine filter does that in photoshop express, the phone app I use for processing phone pictures. I keep about one out of every hundred tries with the effect.
I've tried nature shots with the filter of course, but, like this one, I find they don't hook my attention enough.
That's the purpose. Instead of the old way of one solid color and rest b&w. The leaves facing the sun were effected as i intended to get the effect.
