Well, we could decide to fight for it. There is a reason that the Federal government has been positioning itself to imprison conservatives, they knew as soon as Biden won that they would take things too far, there is a reason why the word extremism is being expanded just as the words r****t and r****m have been expanded. Currently we have the top brass in the military charged to rid the ranks of conservatives, the democrats are preparing big things and they fear the reaction of their own citizens and they don't want anyone in the armed forces that would actually take their oath seriously. It is time for folks to stand and fight back, they sent patriots to die in Viet Nam and the Gulf for far lessor reasons than the Democrat's destruction of our constitutional government.

Commissions of any kind are good for publicity, as in, "See what we're accomplishing?", but accomplishing little to nothing.

The Supreme Court writes its own rules of operations (procedures, cases it will/won't hear, etc.). None of that is the purview of the Executive or Legislative branches.

As to "packing" schemes, it would require the House and Senate to approve legislation to add members, but legislation can't force the High Court to change its modus operandus. And there is also the idea that many folks just don't want the Court altered. They're satisfied with changes in philosophy due to shifting membership. Roosevelt tried this same tactic, but even the Senate rebelled at the idea. And folks also fail to remember, that court members also have allies, albeit not as public, as other folks in DC.

Let's say that legislation was passed to alter the Court. There will be attorneys who will file lawsuits in Federal Court as allies of SCOTUS. Also keep in mind that justices are appointed for life, and Article III, Section 1, must be amended to create "term limits". Good luck with that.

Biden has taken no position on court expansion. He did make a campaign pledge to appoint a commission to study the court.
I doubt any of you fireballs actually read the executive order as it never once mentions. Adding members to the court does it?

Conservative judges tend to rule based upon how the law actually reads...liberal justices often rule based upon how the law should read.
