I had my second Moderna shot on March 31 at 3:00pm. Felt fine the rest of that day and night. Thursday however, I woke up with a really bad headache, chills, was tired and fatigued all day... didn't get out of the recliner. By 6:00pm though, all the after effects I had felt were gone and I was fine.

Most people I know that had the Moderna vaccine had similar side effects, and those I know that had the Pfizer had no effects. One friend that had Moderna even had a 103Ā° fever the next day. Another said he had no side effects at all. I guess it depends on each individual person as to how it affects them.

My wife and I have had the 1st Pfizer shot. Wife had a sore arm for a day. I felt like I had food poisoning and the flu all at the same time. Lost 4 lbs that night. But pretty much back to normal (whatever that might be) on day three.

Got both of mine. Flu shot was worse. When you have had as lab tests as I have had a little shot is irrelevant.

Just to add on to my previous post, I got the Pvizer vaccine and had no side effects other than a sore muscle in my left arm.

I got both Pfizer shots. No reaction to either. And the clinic had a table with mini-cupcakes, cookies, and other treats on our way out.

That is what we are being told. This is generally true for other diseases such as Influenza. Of course, as in everything else if you look hard enough, you can usually find an exception to every rule. Iā€™m betting on increased immunity. Our options are immunization or another 30 million cases or 60 million, who knows.

Just took my first Moderno shot. A little sore in my shoulder. They had me stay for a half hour due to my having taken a Trump cocktail shot last January when I had Covid 19. Was concerned about any problems for I had heard several people who had Covid earlier having been put back in the hospital due to reactions.

The day I had my second shot was fine, just a little tender at the shot site. The following day I had a horrific headache and major joint pain, especially in my knees. Following day was fine, but the day after the (Moderna) shot was truly horrible

According to this article, a strong reaction to the second dose of a 2-dose vaccine indicates a robust immune system. That is why many younger folks get fever after the second dose while more senior recipients often do not.

My 2nd dose (Pfizer) is scheduled in a week. I will be disappointed (but not surprised as a senior citizen) if I get no side effects other than a sore arm. šŸ˜Š

At age 70, I had 40 hours of nasty reaction (six symptoms, though temp stayed below 100) to Pfizer jab #2. However, after the 40 hours, it was like stepping through a doorway into sunshine and lollipops - all good! šŸ˜€ šŸ˜€

got the Moderna, no problem with the first shot, woke up morning after second shot with sore arm, looking for some sympathy from wife, then she reminded me that I slept on it all night

No pain or discomfort with Moderna either time but I can no longer jump tall buildings in a single bound. Faster than a speeding bullet went last year. Also discovered the mind goes second.
