Using Slow Shutter app on my IPhone 8+ to smooth out motion of the Ocean water

Playing around recently with my IPhone 8+ and Slow Shutter app. Tripod mounted phone. Edits done in Photoshop. The first images shows the final image. Second image shows the camera settings that the app used to create the effect. The app I used to view the camera settings was " Investigator".

I’m not sure if the iPhone 8 has this, but the latter models do have a long exposure setting that does exactly that. It’s a submenu under Live Photo, after taking the shot you swipe the resulting photo up and you have a series of exposures. The one on the far left is “Long Exposure”. Works well with moving water.

Yes, my phone has that feature. It works okay but isn't as versatile as using the Slow Shutter app. Here is a link that shows you all the features of the app. The app is fun to play with. https://www.cogitap.com/slowshutter/instructions.htm

I must say, Fstop , that you are building a very impressive portfolio during your stay in the panhandle!

Are you considering a show?

Ha, Dave! You are too kind! We are back home now and I am going through the shots. I doubt very seriously that anyone would show up to see a show I put on unless I offered a Free unlimited Open Bar. LOL. Then it's the more one drinks the better my images look. LOL
