I have mentioned this several times; if you have an HP printer, look at their cartridge program. It will save you money.

I agree 100% . I pay $5.29 a month. My printer, an HP, is connected to the internet, and it lets HP know when It's getting low on ink, either color or blk. I get a new cartridge in the mail usually several weeks before I need it.

While I use OneDrive and love it, I have all of my files, pictures, etc. linked to my desktop. I back up OneDrive automatically nightly (early morning) to an external drive using SyncBackSE paid version. I have two external drives, colored Red and Blue. Only one is in our home. The other is in our bank Safe Deposit Box. Once a month I swap and update them. Recently SyncBackSE reported error messages when using the Blue Drive. Through troubleshooting with the help of Swapna at SyncBackSE, I determined that the Blue Drive had failed, even though it still appeared to have my data. I replaced it and the problem was solved. SyncBackSE has simple backup systems as I use, and more complicated ones including RAID. I can't say enough good about that company and its customer support. The difference between paid and unpaid is with unpaid you don't get customer support.
OneDrive has a two-factor vault where we keep our personal stuff. It can't be backed up with an external drive but you can copy/paste from it to a thumb drive. I have Red and Blue labeled thumb drives; one in our home safe, the other in the bank Safe Deposit Box. I rotate and update them at the same time as the external drives.
OBTW, I believe the Chinese or maybe the Russians will off our internet long before Uncle. The Chinese are getting more and more aggressive about taking Taiwan and if that happens and we stick to our promise to defend Taiwan, that could lead to a major war.

The cartoon reminds me of a few years ago. My wife bought a printer on sale and soon ran out of ink. She went to the same store for replacement cartridges and found they were more expensive than the printer - which was still on sale. Guess what she did?

Printer manufacturers low-ball their printers to get them sold. Then they jack up the price of ink so that they end up with a profit over the life of the printer. About a year ago, Consumer Reports studied one printer from a well known company and determined hat the retail price of the printer was about 85% of the cost to manufacture it, and that was before shipping, handling and taxes.

I switched to the Epson Tank printers and love the low cost ink. Easy to fill the tanks. Black needs to be refilled more often than the others, but the tank for black is also slightly larger. When you switch your printers, check out the Epson Tanks.

What is the image print quality of the Epson 3760? And can you use it to make PDFs?

Thanks. I go as paperless as practical, so I make a lot of PDFs. I have a Canon TR8520 which does excellent prints, but I pay for Canon's Ink, not knock-offs.
