Sometimes you happen to click the shutter at just the right time. Yesterday was one of those days.
I spotted my Grandson Jaxon playing with his dog Zoey by using his squirt gun in the pool. Zoey LOVES water and is in the pool all of the time. She plays by biting at the water stream and dives into the pool to grab toys.
In this photo it looks like she is anything but friendly. She watches Jaxon like an eagle. She is not vicious nor has she bit anyone. However, I would hate to be the fool that tried to break into the backyard or house with Jaxon in her presence. Zoey is extremely loyal and a worry wart over him.
Presenting Zoey as Cujo!
Bonus second photo of Zoey's older playmate "Cota" peeking through a screen enclosure for pool. I think it looks like a photo of a canvas print.
Nikon D850 and Nikkor 28-300mm 3.5-5.6
I'm glad you explained this shot. She looks ferocious!

Agreed. When I first saw this shot I am thinking how bad that dog bite would feel. Having been bitten a couple of times by dogs, I can't imagine. As a first responder for years I have seen some horrific dog bites/attacks. However, a police dog ("Atlas") was my hero one night and saved my groceries with one bite just like Zoey, to the groin of a perpetrator. OUCH!
