You Will Be Adapted to Serve Us....Resistance is Futile.
Excellent photo, great cat expression. If we didn't serve them they wouldn't bother with us!
That is one scary cat. Great shot

Do not infer that I purr because you pat. You pat because I purr. I am the cat, remember that.
Anyone who is owned by a Cat and has not read "The Cat that Walked by Himself" by Rudyard Kipling should do so at your first opportunity. Below is the final sentences from that story
But when he has done that, and between times, and when the moon gets up and night comes, he is the Cat that walks by himself, and all places are alike to him. Then he goes out to the Wet Wild Woods or up the Wet Wild Trees or on the Wet Wild Roofs, waving his wild tail and walking by his wild lone.

Thanks for reminding me - I will reread that. (and I appreciate that you said: “anyone who is owned by a Cat...”)

Yea, they do that.
I sometimes wonder if we host cats out of a sense of penance.

Thanks, she is really a gentle soul but she can cut a look sometimes.

In Islam there are 100 names that describe Allah but only 99 are known by mankind. There is also a tradition among some that Camels know the 100th name and that is why they are so haughty. I sometimes wonder if perhaps cats are also in the know.

That is very interesting - caused me to do some reading on the subject. Thanks!
