Not bad. Offer a product which you do not have at a huge discount (which has an ending date) and when you finally get the item whine to those that took the bait that the discount no longer applies.

The lesson here to to insure the price is firm for whatever time it takes to get your order and if the seller will not do it then do not expect to get the reduced price. I ordered a video cam eight months ago from B&H and never got anything but an occasional email update. Ultimately bought one from from another vendor in January who had it in stock for the price I expected.

I no longer put anything on a wait list. I do not have to be the first one on the block to get something. But that is me and if someone feels differently, for whatever reason to do otherwise, it is your money and your right to take that avenue. Remember though that the seller is not looking out for your interests only theirs.

I put the Z6ii with the lens and adapter in the cart at B&H waiting for them to come back from holiday and that was a mistake. While waiting for them to be able to order the camera went off sale and is now $245 more.
This was a learning exsperience.

Give them a call, they just might be able to help! If not, they will be on sale again, perhaps soon.

That is the story of my life as well. I bought the D810 and few months later the D850 came out. I bought the Z6 and in less than six months the Z6II came out. Why does it often seem to be that way?

So often I laugh at your replies. We must have the same kind of sense of humor.

Here is another way to look at it. Yes, there will be another sale in few months, but think how much fun you will miss in those few months trying to save $245. Is your pleasure not worth $245?

Back in December, I created a cart for B&H which had among other things a Nikon Z5 Body Only for $200 less than the normal price. I let the cart sit like you did, but I got informed by B&H (either email or website, forgot which) that on such and such a date next week, the price would go back to the normal price. So I ordered that cart ASAP and got the $200 discount. Did you not get informed by B&H about your Z6ii going off sale price in future?

No I didn't get notified but in the end they gave me the sale price. I got the Z6ii with the 24-70 F4 lens the adapter, battery grip and an extra Nikon battery for $3166.80 and no shipping or tax. I sed my Payboo card to eliminate the tax.
