Song Sparrow Our Yard 4-3-2021

As promised, Song Sparrows! While working on our new Greenhouse, this little guy flew up and landed about 15 feet away. Started signing when I whistled and just stuck around while I worked. Had my D850 with my 500pF attached handy and took about 30 shots. 1/1250, f 5.6, ISO 200 to 8000. No EC or filters.
This little guy flew into the trees in the background then flew back when I set the camera down and went back to work.

Great shots Timothy.
We have several song sparrows that seem to dwell under a deck/walkway the seems to our dock. They are quite bold.

Thanx for viewing! Yes they do seem to be unafraid of me at least. I do spend a great deal of time in their milieu so perhaps familiarity helps?

Thanx! They are quite gregarious. Not afraid to come really very close. In this case about 15 feet away! My wife walked just between me and the subject bird-it did Not fly off!
