The family decided we haven't been to the Air Museum on NAS Pensacola in some time, so we loaded up the family truckster and spent the afternoon walking around and checking out some of the new displays. With all of the new COVID precautions all of the planes were arranged in groups with chain around them so it was difficult to get more than just snapshots and awkward angles of them. So I decided to look for things a that wouldn't normally catch my eye.
This was a static display of a ships helm tucked near a corner window. I didn't catch any of the history about it so I guess we can make up our own about it's origins.

Much appreciated. And yes, we live so close (15 minutes) that we only go during the slower winter season. But it is an amazing place!
I like it Tony. I often have a hard time shifting gears and looking for the less obvious stuff. Great job!

Thanks Chief! I do too, but every once in a while I get lucky.

My wife & I are both Charter Class graduates of UWF back in 69 and visit occasionally and love to take in the museum and the other historical venues. You live in a beautiful area, thank you for sharing.
