No worries. No worries at all. Let me take a look and desat and see how it looks. I love constructive criticism. It is my favorite part of my camera club process. In fact the whole gallery thing of nice set is not helpful. So I’m not offended at all.

So, let’s make photos!

An example of Adobe's Super Resolution, Adobe Content Aware Fill and Topaz AI Sharpening. I was in the Amazon so conditions were dark. The original shot was taken with a M43 consumer-level lens (14-150 Oly). It was fuzzy and washed out. Enlarging the file size to 64 mp, getting rid of some errant fronds, sharpening up the subject and doing a few other things helped. Highlights in eyes were enhanced a little bit as well. Not perfect but much better than what I could do prior.

Just to get people to start arguing, I also credit shooting in RAW as a benefit on this shot.

Sometimes it makes me wonder why all the fuss about vignette & unsharpness on the edges when after shooting we add both far more than what the lens can.

Never in all my life have I had a camera that saw what I saw in an image. With the advent of digital imaging I am sometimes able to make the image reflect what I saw when I took the shot.

That would be the artistic eye looking.
On the other hand, no camera as of yet can really be at par with the human vision in the visible light spectrum.

They look good.

I have only one comment, but this maybe be your intent: The final(?) one appears to be over saturated.

When it comes to cropping... I am not a fan of it, at all. That is likely why I do not go wildlife shooting as I would want a great telephoto and those are often more expensive than the camera and would have very little use in the end...

Reloaded the shot. I agree that it was over saturated.

As far as wildlife, in Africa, most of the animal shots were accomplished with a 12-100 Oly. They're right next to the vehicle. But one goes for the memories and the experiences. I, for one, am not a wildlife photographer...but won't pass up a shot. I urge you to take a look at my Africa post in the Gallery...those are a representation of what one can see...the Amazon is an awful shooting experience...dark, animals far away, hot, buggy, lots of ants. I made the unfortunate decision to show this photo.

I think I ran out of steam on this topic.

Happy shooting.

You worry too much. Do what makes you happy. It's your photo. Make it as garish as you want if it suits you.
Comments that may go against your decisions are just individual preference.
Everyone has his own differing opinion and if you keep up to everyone's expectation, you'll be going in circles.

No worries, be happy. It's your photo, do what makes you smile.

The only time others expectation is important is if they are paying you for it.

I downloaded Topaz Al sharpen last night just because I blew some shots of my first eagle in flight by to low a shutter speed. It did as advertised. After sitting playing with it a bit I deleted the program and the soft photos. I PERSONALLY feel that unless it is a once in a lifetime shot I'm cheating myself and my viewers by using Al software to hide my shortcomings. I believe Al is amazing Al is a lifesaver in certain never to get a chance again shots and Al is much fun to play with. I PERSONALLY am trying to become a better photographer and not so much a Al expert processor. This is my personal opinion which means absolutely nothing to anyone. Lol

You should be happy with this as you caught the critter at a good moment. I like how you removed the light-colored leaf or branch. Nice photo - it’s a heart-warmer
