Yesterday, we returned to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum hoping that the iris would be in bloom. They were! We also found some other stuff. Enjoy! As always, I look forward to your comments.

Beautiful series. I love the lacy Iris and those cactus blossoms are awesome. I’ve never seen anything quite like the Ironwood.

Thanks, Carol. I was disappointed in not finding any yellow iris, or the other colours they usually have. But any iris is beautiful! The cactus blooms were off trail, and we almost missed them!
The set was very good, Kathy, but your use of light in the last one is wonderful.

Thanks, Bob. It's a good time to be there.
Really great set Kathy. I really enjoyed these.. the last shot especially so
I appreciate your work. Like you in the first shot, I try to shoot the light/dark, sun/shadows to give form and texture to flower pictures. Well done!

Thanks. She was flitting all around. She sat for a few seconds in the sunlight and I was able to actually get her.
Beautiful pictures Kathy, it is so nice to see the flowers again and hear the bird songs!
