Great pics! Fun to see these and yes, you did well controlling both cam and car.
I used RC cars myself in the past, still have them. I once strapped my iPhone to the back of one for video. Works really well, you just don't want to crash the RC car. haha

Strapping cameras on RC is fun. The cheap action cameras that looks like go-pro will allow you to smile even if it goes boink
