My try at making a plaster face look human with color added

Looking on the web on a site that allows use of the B&W photos . I found one where it looks like a person is holding in there left hand a plaster or stone copy of a woman's face with a head dress . So I decided to try my skills of adding color , but not just adding color . I wanted to try to make the face look like a real person . For the eye color I decided to type in the search bar photos of blue eyes . Then I picked the color of blue I wanted to use for my eyes . I rebuilt the eyes to look real . I made the eyes looking down toward the person who is holding the casting to give it a more real like moment , and not a blank stare looking straight ahead. Then I added eyebrows and lashes with the paint brush set to 1 for size . The colors I decided to use for the head dress were picked because the head dress looked like something from the far east maybe . And I picked a normal skin tone with different colors used thru out the skin .

I left the rest of the photo B&W because I wanted the face and head dress to be the main subject , and I didn't want to remove the rest of the photo subject which is telling the story in the photo .

This is my real first try at something like this .

Thank you for taking time out of your day and looking at another one of my projects . And as always , if you leave a comment , a special thanks from me .Tommy

I can't imagine how much time this must have taken, but you did it! I think it's excellent!

The download is awesome. Did you smoothen the skin? If you did it might be an idea to leave some of the texture or add some of your own. The skin looks just too perfect. Apart from that, awesome.

Nicely done. You could be a makeup artist.
Also interesting how the facial expression seems to change with the addition of color.

Way to go King. Maybe adding a little noise to the face would simulate skin pores and disguise the plaster surface a bit?

Very good, certainly brings it to life and as it is a plaster face I do not think it matters if it is smooth or not..
