My apologies for mislabeling my last post as "The Road From Lugano To St. Moritz" when, in fact, they were taken earlier in the trip on the road from Gruyeres to Taesch. This was pointed out by my friend Joe Weber who is a native of Switzerland. It was a result of a filing error and a fading memory of our trip in 2015. Here are some more of the beautiful Valais landscapes which were taken through the tour bus windows on this segment of the trip. Please enjoy!

Really beautiful, rugged country. Mostly granite?

Thanks for the info Bill. For the geology buffs, here's an interesting website: http://www.evolene-geologie.ch/geology/introduction-160.html

Nice mountain pictures Mark from your bus segment.

BTW, when I posed my question on your last post, I didn't mean to point out that you were incorrect, I rather just wondered how on the trip segment you indicated (Lugano to St. Moritz) your group went via the Valais, which would have been doable but a huge detour. I know it is very easy to get mixed up with the pictures of all these mountain sequences - you are doing a great job! Joe

Another excellent set Mark. I suspect you are enjoying your photos as much (probably more!) as we are.
