Whom can tell me who is able to build a decent(Pro Entry) desktop using Windows 10 64 bit for $2,000 or less for editing using Adobe PSCC and ACR. Possibly, one that might be already built. Would appreciate any help and assistance. I know this has been addressed in the past from fellow hoggers.

Sorry apparently my whole post did not come thru. I purchased a power spec G434 from Micro Center for 1100.00 on sale. I7 9th gen cpu 32mb 3600ram. Rtx2070 super gpu 1tb nvme m2 hard drive. Windows 10professional I added 2 ssd hard drives from crucial 2tb each. 750 watt semi modular power supply was also included. I added the hard drives by plugging them in. Then enabling them in windows. Expandable in ram and hard drive space. Has the latest on motherboard wifi. Also liquid cooled cpu. 1 year warranty expandable to 5 for a fee. I have 3 of their units. The gpu is Nvidia who specializes in drivers for photography processing. Also a leader in gaming. They have brick and mortar stores in ohio texas and someplace else I think. I live in Ohio but have them ship everything to me. They also custom build and have an app on their website so you can pick your parts if you know what you want. Great company. Great service the one time they shipped me the correct computer but it had the wrong motherboard installed. Their house brand of parts is very good also

I Just go to the one in Dallas with
a list of what I want it to do, and a handy dandy salesperson helps me find parts that go together nicely. Most of the salespeople really know what they're talking about.
and not always the most expensive parts, either.

I also recommend having a desktop built by MicroCenter. I am not a techy person, but the staff at Micro Center is. They can tell you the best way to maximize how your $$$ get allocated. I also agree that reading the articles on Puget Systems website is something you ought to do. I get mine at their store in Houston.

https://www.pugetsystems.com/solutions/content_creation/photo.php

If I were buying a new desktop today for photo editing, I would make sure that it had a SSD drive. You will want a NVME (also described as an m.2 SSD) drive which would be the Samsung 900 series. It's faster than a traditional SSD.

And a video card with at least 6 GB of RAM.

And RAM on the motherboard, as much as you can afford.

And an internal HDD, for image storage, 12 TB to 16 TB.

If you will be adding additional internal HDDs, have them install any needed parts when the desktop is built so you can just plug in the added internal HDD when needed.

And extra silent cooling fans.

I added 2 fans to my G434. One in the rear and one in the front. The rear fan increased cooling capacity a good amount. I added two free programs to monitor the GPU and CPU and motherboard temps. Firestorm comes with nvidia products and HW monitor is a freeware program that monitors all temps and keeps a record of the maximum and minimum temps. Both run in the background and use basically no resources. Firestorm gives you complete control of GPU fan curves and overclocking if you decide to do that. I do not recommend that but fan curve tweaking is a great plus. Best of luck and PM me if I can help.

I purchased several desktop computers from Micro Center. They were nice machines and never failed me. My last computer was built by me, from components. A few things to consider:

Decide on the size of the computer case you want, like full size or compact. This will dictate how many drives you can install.

Next find a motherboard and CPU that fits the case and works together. The CPU should be selected with the speed you want and the motherboard needs to accept the amount of RAM you want. From there, decide on the number and types of mass storage you need. These can include solid state and traditional hard drives, plus DVD/Blue Ray drives. Choose a video card and any other things, like a Bluetooth card you want. One of the last things to consider is the power supply that is required to handle all the components. You might find out you need additional cables or adapters for the various components. A heat sink and fan may be required for the CPU. If the case doesn't have an exhaust fan, one or two may be required.

Go with the 64 bit operating system and a nice video monitor. Good speakers are nice, also.

Good luck, if you decide to build your own computer.

Other than my second computer, I've assembled all of mine for the last nearly 30 years. My last two builds use Intel Chip and the other an AMD.
This is what I have:
Intel
ASRock Z390 MB
i7 8700K processor
16GB RAM
RTX 2080 Ti Graphics
2 - M.2 SSD 512 GB
8TB Seagate HDD.
and the other
AMD
ASUS X570-I
AMD Ryzen 5 GPU
16 GB RAM
no graphics card... I was waiting for AMD's next GPU.
2 - 2 GB M.2 SSD
1 6TB Seagate HDD
both running Win10 64Pro and Kraken water cooled.
