On a bright, sunny February day, these two little visitors showed up to brighten the winter landscape. Sadly, after two major ice storms a week later, the trees they were sitting in are no more.

Thanks! It has been a rough year, especially on the landscaping. We lost two big trees and three or four smaller ones, resulting in our shade gardens becoming sunny gardens. At least the birds are still coming around!

Nature persists. Those birds went somewhere for others to photograph. Nice shots!
