My photo club had our first group outing in a year last Saturday. The place was packed with 1 in 5 people wearing some shade of a bright red jacket. I experimented with an Opteka 15mm Macro that I used as a close up lens since it was such a windy day. The lantern, daffodils and tulips begin focus at 2” @ f/32. BTW Ball Ground is also home to a great Cajun restaurant with a very good German butcher shop/deli next door, easy to find on the town strip. Hope you like the pics.

Really nice images here, Steve! I do like how that Opteka lens renders the colors of the landscape.

Thanks Stan...glad you like em. I’ve tried to use this lens on two different church locations with disappointing results due to the photographer. I would have loved to have had a calmer wind to produce less motion of the long stem flowers, but like you, I’m pleased with the colors and DOF. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks ELNikkor...the last one was shot with a Canon 24-105, the Opteka 15 was used in #1, #2 and #4 only. Thanks for having a look

Steve, Good job on these! That is an interesting lens. I am glad we chose different scenes. Saturday has to be crowded there. Maybe I will see you there.
