I took the strap that came with my camera and put it on a snap hook, and a ring on the left side of my cameras and use that as a shoulder strap. For events, I have a cotton carrier holster that I carry one camera, and the other camera with my home made one.
I bought one about six months ago and have only used it once. It's very comfortable, just doesn't work for the type of shooting I do. I will sell it to you for 25 dollars. Nothing wrong with it, it still looks brand new.
Your best choice would definitely be the Peak Design Sling.
I have one like this I love for hiking. Distributes the weight across shoulders instead of on one shoulder or neck.

It's been awhile (2014) since someone posted questions about this and am looking for a well padded & solid attaching shoulder sling for my D850 & 500 pf5.6 & TC1.4 combo.
Anyone w/recent (last couple years) experience that has some recommendations and tips using them are greatly appreciated. This will primarily be used on several mile hikes for wildlife photography.
Thanks!
I use and can recommend Cotton Carrier! I carry a D500 with a 500pF attached, D7200 with 300 PF attached, D850 with 70-200 attached. Old and arthritic but I can carry all three leaving my hands free to carry a monopod (crutch) and tripod stool. I can carry this rig for some distance. The cameras are all easily accessible while on the trail and the weight is spread evenly across your shoulders and upper back.
