Rmalarz mentioned Smith’s work. I looked him up and liked what I saw. Working with miniatures there certainly is a lot of potential. My wife wasn’t crazy about the broccoli tree, but like the other one she liked. So I am batting 500 with her😀

I am somewhat jaded but these miniatures inspire me.
I haven't kept up with techniques and technology very much but I do have some software and an imagination.
I am in the middle of packing and preparing for a move in April but hope to explore and learn to do some similar shots in the future.

Well once you are settled in your new digs, I urge you to go for it. At least for me it was a lot of fun. Just as I my son had fun playing with these miniatures over 30 ago, I too had fun with them. Having an imagination is the big part. So you are well on your way.
