I shot the bust of Robt. Fulton at the Detroit institute of Arts and the steamboat at Disneyworld and used Photoshop to composite them.
I used a variation shot of the bust in the second version.
Very nice. I like the gentle fade between the two and the colors in both photos coordinate beautifully. Well done!
Very good, I like the way you have the background colour in the bust picture going round the outside of the boat.. On the bottom picture I did notice that there is a bit on the lower left that has a bit of the underneath picture showing. Only a small thing but it caught my eye... I think the second picture is better with both shoulders showing on the bust..
I prefer the second one without the logo. If this was mine I would have Fulton more to the left and fading into the boat.

You have a good eye. That is the remnant of the left side of the stereo 3D version that I cut off. I originally did this in 3D. I don't think there is much interest in 3D on this forum but I compete in the Detroit Stereographic Society. Thanks.

I can never look at 3d things as I have a problem with one eye. Due to a virus that came back 3 times the vision is blurred so even when I took the grandkids to the cinema to watch a 3d film I could not see it even with the glasses
Wonderful concept and overall well executed. I too like the second one. If it were my project, and it's not, I would re-work the bust in PS Quick Select and Shift Edge to eliminate the black outline, and feather the edge 1 or 2 pixels to allow the bust to blend into the background. JMHO
