New ways to use a Gimbal or not.

Hi All I own a modular Gimbal from Feiyutech
These photos are just a proof of concept for using the follow focus off the Gimbal. Since the head and handle detach from each other it becomes possible to move the QR plate from the Gimbal head to the tripod head. There is a collar that connects the Gimbal head to the Gimbal handle. What i'm hoping to do is get this new cap made so the cable which now plugs into the Gimbal plate can plug direct to the handle. The software for this already works wired and wirelessly. You can do this already if you mount a 2nd camera on the gimbal to balance it and run the usb c cable from the gimbal plate to the focus motor on the camera thats on the tripod, but obviously this is a better option if i can get them to make it. A secondary benefit is that the caps help protect the interface between the handle and the head. The full version would have caps for both the gimbal head and the gimbal handle with a comms cable between them. You might just have the head on a mini tripod or a slider. One of the things the software can do is object tracking by mounting a smartphone to the cold shoe of the camera this would make for interesting shots from a slider with a much lower centre of gravity than would be the case normally. also the comms cable would allow you to have a boom or jib with the head at one end and the controls at the bottom.
