Finally something other than bees. The ants were attacking a smaller winged bug of some kind. The bee is just doing bee things.

The ants make a tangle of legs. I think I see a spider in the jumble. I currently have fire ant bites on my ankles from doing yard work so the ants make me nervous.
The bee shot is beautiful and so nicely detailed. I also enjoyed you transformed bee shot! Well done.

Thanks Carol I call those thing "Ant Stars". What ever it was had no chance and notice these are worker ants and not warriors.

Ants are amazing. I don't know how the communicate but during this action more ants arrived and then turned away after the issue was settled. Bees are much easier because of their size but thank you for the comment.
