I posted this question on the Printers section, but no responses. I'll try here to see if anyone has a solution.
I have installed Canon Print Studio Pro (PSP) plug-in into Photoshop Elements 2020 on my new computer. Finally got the plug-in to work. How do I copy the settings I created on my old computer to my new computer?
If you are on a Mac this information mighty give you start for a place to look:
"What goes on is that all presets are stored as XML files (In macOS Catalina: ~/System/Application Support/Canon/Professional Print & Layout/UserData/Favorite called "Favorite_######.xml"). In these files, the printer is registered with some necessary information that also is displayed in the application. This information is stored under the <Printer></Printer> tags."
On a Windows computer look here:
"C:\Program Files\Canon\Print Studio Pro\Favorite Templates"
Thanks for the info, especially on the Windows platform.
Tried that. Didn't work. Will manually write down settings and do it that way.
Can't find a way to contact Canon. Only phone number leaves me on hold for well over 45 minutes.
Very frustrating ondeed!
