In 2015, we vacationed in Alaska, one week land and one week cruise, all with a tour group. This fulfilled my wife’s bucket list to step foot in every of the 50 states. Me, not as well-traveled as the wife. While Alaska is arguably the most photogenic of any of the states, it has one of the ugliest State Capitol buildings in the USA (Google it)…looks more like a typical office building.

The photos are all taken with a Nikon D5200, which I have since upgraded to a Nikon Z5.

Looks like a great trip, BobbyJohn. We enjoyed ours, too, although I would have preferred less rain.

Good photos. I've driven the road to Denali a couple times and taken the bus several times, but come on man! I guess if I was from Dallas it might have been a bit scary. Flatlanders! :-}. BTW the antlers on the right from the viewers position is from a Caribou not a Moose.

Great photo Bobbyjohn of you and your wife! Just for the record, your wife is holding a set of Moose antlers while you on the other hand are holding a set of Cariboo antlers!! An honest mistake as I doubt there are many Moose or Cariboo in Texas.
