I’m trying to understand if some other Fuji cameras other than the four S1, S2, S3 and S5 pros can be fitted with Nikon lenses. I’ m interested in buying a recent Fuji body only if is in compliance with Nikon lenses , your cooperation is appreciated

I have Fuji X cameras, X-T2 and X-T4. I use Nikon lenses on them all the time. But I only use them with manual focus lenses (dumb adapter). I have no experience with nor would I attempt to use an adapter that tried to make an electronic connection to newer auto-focus lenses.

If I understand you are using Nikon lenses in manual focus without any adaptor , is it right

No. An adapter is required. The Fuji mount and flange distance are different. A dumb adapter is inexpensive. I'm very happy with a K&F Concept adapter: https://www.kentfaith.com/fuji-lens-adapter/KF06.101_nikon-to-fuji-x-mount-adapter

Here's a snapshot of a Nikon mount lens on my Fuji X-T2. The lens is a Zeiss Distagon Nikon F mount. You can see the adapter between the lens and body.

Nikon compatible Fuji cameras were discontinued many years ago. That series is now a dead end.

I know , now if you want to use Nikon lenses on new Fuji Xt4 or xt3 needs an adaptor and lenses can be fitted but work only on manual focus

Fringer now has a smart adapter for Nikon to Fuji x mount. Does auto focus and everything. Haven’t bought one yet but plan to soon.

Here's a good place to see what's available for most cameras and lenses:

Gianfranco, I do all of my tabletop macro and micro work with a Fujifilm X-T20 with the K&F Concept adapter to Nikon F.

This allows me to use all of my Nikon lenses with it. I also got a Nikon F to an M42 thread adapter which allows me to use many vintage M42 screw mount lenses, microscope objectives, and enlarger lenses.

Yes...they are function as manual lenses which require manual focus however the exposure meter works along with all other camera functions. I do need to set the menu option to shoot with non-cpu lens.

That's a lot of $$$$ -- I've read mixed reviews as to how well it works.

Yes. Only manual. I use a Nikon 85 f1.4. Adapters are cheap. Fotasy, Fotodiox. Work great.
