Just found this in the archives. I don't remember what it started as or what I did to it but I'm glad I saved it.

Looks like a flower?

How would you title this?

I wouldn't, other than abstract, background etc. When they passed out imagination I must have been on a bathroom break.

Don't complain, I am usually the most creative due to lack of sleep.

Looks like a high pass filter was used.

Not remembering adds to the mystery. It opens the door to use it anyway you please on a composite. You will not be Shackled by remembering why you created it.

My guess would be that it was once a flower but it couldn’t possibly have been as stunning as this abstract. I like the explosion effect and the neutral tones between the bursts of color. This would make a great fabric pattern.

Actually I know why I create these things--because I'm bored and too lazy to edit photos or do something else constructive, besides they, as you know are fun. I have two relative large files one titled Abstracts and the other Backgrounds and Textures. The B&T file contains mostly homemade stuff.

Thanks for looking Carol. I would guess it was it was too. It could be a stand alone but since I found it again I am leaning toward using it for a background somehow.

Are you going to continue supporting the background and texture collection Linda started?

That's a very nice thought, Jack, thanks!

Carol: I've moved it to DA: https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-630884-1.html

If you want to sticky, that's fine - or just perhaps provide a link in welcome doc or a new resource doc?

I’ll sticky it to the top of the forum and between Linda and I we will definitely continue it! It’s a valuable resource.
