Beautiful work, Larry! What did you use for the light painting?

Hi Mike
I use a Petzl Hiker's Headlamp. It is a LED with three brightness levels. I used the lowest level, as it gives me better control.
Glad you liked the shot.

Absolutely Stunning! And never has a dead tree looked so desirable! Masterful work, Larry.

I felt sorry for the tree. I wanted to create a memorial for it. Maybe this will work.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

Thanks. Larry. I use the same headlamp for moving about in night shots, but I did not realize how well it works as a painting light.

A perfect memorial to a very photogenic subject. Very well done, Larry. But "dead"? I wouldn't say so. Not after seeing "Morning Glory". In early morning light, this "dead tree" has more life than a number of people I know.

You're pretty greedy aren't you, pal ? You're not happy with one perfect photo (yesterday) you have to have two perfect photos?! Nice going.

This is beautiful. It might be one of the best of these kinds of shots I’ve seen.
