Finally got a few good shots of a local Pileated Woodpecker that has been moving around our property for a weeks. He calls and pecks and I finally found him! Saw this American Robin and had to take a few shots.
Warm Late Winter day-about 52 F, no wind mostly sunny.
Broke out my trusty D7200 with my new 300pF attached. Handheld, no EC or polarizer.
Downloads are great!
Enjoy!

Nice set, particularly the woodpecker
The last one is a stunner. The pileated are in constant movement. They are difficult to shoot.
Super shots of the pileated woodpecker.
Great shots especially the woodpecker

Thanx! Finally! He is flitting around drumming very little. He finally came in range in good light.
