Hey, all you loyal Hedgehogs! I wanted to give everyone a heads up on a new development between two sections of UHH: Post Processing Digital Images and The Exploration of Digital Artistry.

Moving forward, the Post Processing Section will be dedicated exclusively to learning different processing software, techniques and processes for enhancing your photos. Digital Artistry is for sharing the work you have created by significant use of artistic filters, plugins, and special effects. It is a place to come for inspiration, new Ideas and feedback if desired.

Everyone is welcome. We would love to see you there!

And now, a couple of tips about using UHH. When you become a member, you are automatically subscribed to some of the sub sections. The sections you subscribe to are the ones that you see in the Photography Digest and also when you click on Newest Topics and Newest Pictures. If you don’t subscribe to a section, the posts in that section are invisible to you. At the bottom of each UHH page is a link labeled “All Sections” where you will find all the sections that are available. Each offers you the opportunity to subscribe or unsubscribe. Because new sections are added periodically, it is a good practice to review this list occasionally.

Longtime members may have forgotten or not reviewed this area lately and newcomers may not have heard at all. Please subscribe to these sections and any others that interest you. I hate for anyone to miss out on all the fun!

Question - can anyone now join the Exploration of digital Artistry section now without having to be approved by an admin? When it was first started I asked to join and the snarky reply that I got from the person running it made me decide that I wanted no part of it.
