It means nothing to you but ever since my two dogs died of old age I wanted to replace them. She had arguments against it and I did not push the issue all that hard, just letting her know it was.... 'pending'.
Today she made a HUGE mistake!!!
"Two dogs are good" she said to her parents so now... Well I am in the clear!
Two dogs coming up within a few months!
I worked with this breed while in the French army...
Before I get the pups I'll have to really dog proof the fence as these beasts are not exactly cordial with strangers.

What Breed?
Great shot of a beautiful dog. Reminds me of the song that starts "Monsieur le president, je vous écris une lettre..." Some of my friends had fun during conscription - others not so much. Hope you had fun! Thanks for sharing - hope you find some fun, healthy pups.

We lost our 17 year old shih tzu back in 2015, our age then 74. Waited a year decided we are to old, but got another shih tzu anyway. Year later got him a sister shih tzu. Yes now we are both 80. Too damn old to have two dogs. They restrict our going places, they are like having a couple 2 year old babies in the house. But they are a joy most of the time. We have 3 human kids that all love and have dogs so one of them will take them when/If necessary.
With our lockdown due to this china flu crap We haven’t been able to go for the past year anyway. And also getting to damn old to travel now. Cant drive for hours at a time now. So ive been glad to have our two fur babies around

We are in the same position. Still miss them.
Seniors can always adopt a senior dog.

Have you thought about rescuing an older dog? I'm sure your dear departed pets would applaud.
A dog will be...anything you train it to be.
My friend had a pit bull that was a complete teddy bear.
He trained it that way.
Nope, no rescue dog, sorry.

IMO, one is never too old to have a canine companion. They can be somewhat of a pain, but the love back is irreplaceable.
