EXCELLENT advice...

All those sellers often have good used equipment but they do NOT always match up. I have found MPB buys low, I attempted to sell some quality gear and their quotes were low ... they are like a pawn shop online. MPB better for buying than selling to, imo and experience

I have sold several items to mpb. and have been quoted higher buying prices from them, then B&H or Adorama.
Whenever I want to sell to one of these online camera stores, I always get quotes on buying prices from several places.

will

"...Most resellers do not test and post the shutter count..." Paul unlike KEH and B&H mpb does post shutter counts for it's digital camera stock... See Below...

mpb has been reputable in my experience with them...
but like Paul said... Trust but verify, they have a "no question" returns period. And provide shipping labels

While they may list it for some , not all of the cameras they sell show the shutter count. Case in point check out the Canon M50. It seems to be hit or miss. While checking out the Canon SL2 - some indeed had shutter counts posted, while others did not.

I have bought from them twice. Very happy with the whole transaction both times. They post the shutter count on all their cameras for sale.

That is not exactly true case in point Canon M50 and while checking on the Canon SL2 some had it listed while others did not. So to say that they post the shutter count on all their cameras for sale is not accurate at all. This does not mean however that you shouldn't buy from them.

I have purchased two like new low shutter count cameras from MPB. Very satisfied. A class operation.

Once in a great while the shutter count may be missing, but you can contact them and they will provide it and update the listing.

I did this a few days ago. Unfortunately for me the shutter count was a relatively low 12k and someone else snapped it up before my stimulus payment arrived (comes tomorrow) and I could buy it...Nikon D610 in excellent condition for $604...rats.

They only have 3 left in "good" condition with much higher shutter counts so I'm pursuing one on eBay with 5k more clicks and a USA model in "excellent".

Wish me luck

Yep, good luck. One of my purchases from them was a D610. I don't remember off the top of my head what the shutter count was but it's been a great camera, I've had it for a couple years and I love it for full frame and a little smaller files than my D850.

OK I shouldn't have said all their cameras have shutter counts. That's painting with a broad brush. I should have said that every camera I was interested in and found on their website had a shutter count listed. Sorry about that.

I bought my Canon 80D from them, also the 15-85mm lens and Sigma 17-50mm and I love them the quality is just like they said, and their prices were fair.

Have bought multiple items from them and highly recommend. Recently bought an 850 from them with a shutter count of 2132 for $700 less than Nikon refurbished price. Checked the shutter count out of the box and it was 2167.
KEH will not give you a shutter count. Talked to a rep and was told with 6 month warranty thatโ€™s not an issue. Sorry, but yeah, it IS!

Same experience. $200 more for one lens from MPB than from B&H, KEH. In fairness, what a business like this will pay for a given piece of gear at a given time is dependent on what they already have in stock at that point in time as compared to the expected absorption rate for that item. In other words if they can expect to sell three a month, and only have two, they'll pay more than if they already have three.

Also re shutter count. MPB includes limits on shutter count in their condition rating. Check the FAQ section of the MPN web site.
