Yes, MPB is a very reliable source. Customer support is excellent and what I have bought from them was better than they stated.

Let me add a shout out to UsedPhotoPro, the used equipment division of Roberts Camera. You can buy from them directly, or “make best offer” on slightly higher ebay asking prices. The prices end up about the same. Good return policy.

I have purched two or three secondhand items from MPB UK, and have been more than happy. The last item was a Sigma 180mm f2.8 OS macro lens in mint condition. I paid £800 instead of £1300 for a brand new copy. I've found their online description of products to be very accurate.

Very high reputation here in the U.K. Offered me a good price on my Canon 60D & lens. Only reason I didn't use them was because I had a number of non transferable accessories that they wern't interested in.

Bought an RRS bh-55 ball head. Listed as excellent. I would say New without the box. Would buy again.

I have bought 2 lens from them (used) in the past, never an issue. I have also sold off old bodies/lenses on 3 different occasions. I've found their offering price to be slightly higher than KEH, Adorama or B&H with direct deposit into my checking account.

I have bought over a half dozen lenses and accessories (all Nikon specific) and not one issue. All near new. Make sure to read what is included. A couple of items had more than promised! Saved hundreds of $$$.

I have purchased cameras, lenses and various accessories from mpb. They accurately describe each piece of gear and I have been totally pleased with my experience with them.

Another great used equipment vendor is Used Photo Pro. The parent company is Roberts, also great for new gear.

Having bought two Fuji XT bodies and a lens from MPB, I have found them most reliable. Their ratings are quite conservative. Would surely deal with them again.

Got better prices from them when selling than any others.
Items bought from them arrived quickly and in great condition.
Also it is very easy to get connected to someone there about any problems or questions.
