I’ve had the opposite effect. I finally feel like my internal clock is regulated after being out of sort from trying to handle gaining an hour in the fall. It may be an old man thing.😊

I’ve never understood DST. It’s original purpose didn’t even make sense back in the day. Even if it delays the use of some energy for lighting at the end of the day, those who get up at dawn on standard time now have to turn their lights on in the dark in the morning. Back in the day, most heat was supplied by non-electrical sources and air conditioning was pretty much non-existent - not much energy savings there. Clocks and keeping time was based on natural celestial processes. Religious types should be raising objections to DST because it is messing with Gods natural order of things.

Yeah, in March the gov’t takes one hour of my life. Then in the Fall they give it back without interest. Fap.

Personally, I'm a big fan of DST. As a kid it meant that we could have an hour more outdoor playtime after supper. As an adult, I've got more time to spend in my garden or mow the lawn after supper when it gets cooler. Without DST, the sun would be coming up around 3:00 AM in the summer and I'd hate to be sleeping through all that daylight. Getting adjusted isn't any worse than if you stayed out 'til 2:00AM and then had to get up in the morning to go to work. At least clocks go back on a Saturday and you can sleep an hour later on Sunday. I could never understand people getting stressed out over something I've always considered a bonus.

I too think DST is just stupid. They should pick it only if they leave it on that time standard afterwards. How is it that the government can pass all kinds of idiotic bills, but can't get this time thing done right?
