Yes, but that was true for any of his putts!!
1.6 million is not bad for 2nd. He & Helen can have a very nice dinner!!😀

You’re right but it was the timing of it...the last putt left him alone in second place. A miss would have left him in a 3 way tie and less money. But still a very nice check indeed🥴

I think he would have traded the 1.6 mil or even the 2.6 mil for the title and trophy!!

You’re right he’s a very easy guy to root for Mark. Happy for Justin but also glad Lee made the putt on 18 to secure solo second.

He’s a class guy!! Has
never quite finished a winner in major events, but he’s come very close and has had an illustrious career. 🏌🏼‍♀️

You’re probably right. These guys are all super competitive and winning is paramount...especially when you’ve already banked a ton of money over your career.🥴

I’ve volunteered at a number of PGA events and watched him from “inside the ropes”. He’s definitely one of the good guys.

I followed a pairing between Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus at Whislter for a charity event. Jack has a wonderful personality (It was his designed course) being congenial with the audience. Greg not so much. A Photog took his photo with a DSLR and the , He gave the ciytre data

Sorry if my comments didn’t come across the way I intended. I was agreeing with you that winning the tournament, especially at this stage of his career, is more important than the money that comes with it.

I did understand that is what you were saying. I totally agree and hope he finds a way to win at Augusta, but I doubt he will.
Be well,
Mark
