Yeah maybe, and not trying to be a jerk, but seeing the look on my daughters (and now grandchild's) eyes when I open up the ol' Speed Graphic (that still has that "uncorrected" upside down image) has more value to me than I'd get selling it. Actually part of the deal when I bought it was I couldn't sell it for more than I paid for it. Maybe, maybe not on the resell now, but even though he's deceased an old GySgt would find a way to get me back.

I've looked into selling a couple of my old DSLR's and found what they were going to pay was a little insulting considering what they were going to resell it for. I passed them along to people just getting into the photography game. All I asked was that when they decided to move onto a newer or better camera, do the same. Pass it on. Plenty of youngsters out there that would appreciate it. Just my thought on it.

You are a true blue guy. I think that is wonderful that you pass gear on down. I do the same thing.

If I am not using a camera I keep it in a Ruggard cabinet.

I keep all of my photography gear in a large Rugged Cabinet as well.
