I shot the first photo and my daughter shot the second one with my old Kodak M1033 point and shoot camera.
She asked me to post her photo because she would like to know what all of you think about it.

all coments welcome

I agree, both are really good. Her's needs a frame around it so it doesn't look so much like two pictures in one.
You both did good! Thanks for sharing!

Your Daughter has a Gift. I hope she explores it with a passion.

Your daughter's photo is elegant in its simplicity.

Your photo? It bothers me a little that the horizon is not quite level. And I wonder what the same shot would look like with the lighthouse off to one side or the other. I do like the color and mood.

I also like very much the LightHouse Pic. I'm from that neck of the woods so I appreciate your image for it is not an easy subject to portray.

You are like me. You take a photo and your daughter paints a canvas. Been there, done that. How old is your daughter? Mine was about twelve when I noticed her eye. She shot for a long time with a Kodak p&s. She even had showings.

She created a nice piece of art here.
