Yesterday the clouds made for a nice sunrise and the light at sunrise was great for some shots of the snow around the house that fell during the night. The first shot is a pre-sunrise composite (Panoramic) shot made from 8 overlapping individual shots at 500mm with the camera turned 90 degrees to get more sky in each image. as it is almost 28K pixels wide and over 6K pixels in height. This image is best in download and double download to see the details in the mountain silhouettes. The second shot is a wider angle image that captured some of the cloud shadows and sunrise a bit later than the first image. The third shot is of the snow caught in the tree branches as the first rays of sunlight hit the snow. The next three shots show a views in a few different directions of the snow and trees at sunrise. As the sun rose a bit higher in the sky some fog started forming in the valleys to the east as seen in the next two shots. The last two shots show some hungry birds that came by just after sunrise. All comments, questions and suggestions are welcome.

Hi joecichjr
Thanks for checking out the photos, the comment. I normally like the snow better when I go to visit it, rather than when it comes to visit me. But since it came here I took a few photos of it.
