Very nice shot on a very nice wintery day. Thanks for sharing.
And yes, still winter here, and still waiting. First one was yesterday, the second one is this morning.

Patience, Greg...patience!

Thanks, John? But were you, somehow, feeling pressured?

No, it"a a lot for a phone, and I don't use it much. Perhaps £25 / $30 per year. Motorola G8 will do me.

Any images worthy of note?

Thank you, Rich, for the compliment.
Glad that it pleased!

Oh yeah. It won’t be long before things warm up and start melting. Once it starts, it goes quickly and then the leaves start to pop out again.

Here's one that I took recently and fits in with the post's title. A favourite scene of mine and a short walk away, perhaps a little over a mile. Very early Spring looking down a valley in The Chiltern Hills, U.K.
As taken by the phone with a little crop to reduce an open featureless sky.
The camera lacks a lot of the fine detail and copes poorly with low light. But as it's nearly always my second option I'm not to bothered.

I keep meaning to go out with just the PHONE, force me into exploiting it. If I do I'll be sure to post something.

Oh sure, and here we sit with a “winter advisory’ for snow tonight!

And I can’t forget backpack camping on the SD- WY line in 1973 and waking to 18” of snow on the 18th of June! Hadn ‘t heard the “winter livestock advisory” that that had been broadcast the day before!

Ohhhh....very pretty country, John. Could have been taken 250 miles SE of here in the Swaledale region of Northern Iowa.
Have you tried raw captures with your smartphone? Improved detail capture is amazing!

The weather lady said, last night, that we’re supposed to get “flurries” today or this evening. I just got up and the sky is clear, with -4˚ temperature. We are all waiting for spring to spring. By the way, that’s a very nice landscape there.

Thanks, Greg. I forgot to mention that’s the “home place”.
