Hey Look!! It's me
Mar 11, 2021 22:48:58   #
Steve DeMott Loc: St. Louis, Missouri (Oakville area)

Shot with a D750 w/ 24mm F2.8 lens @ 160 sec, F 6.3, ISO 3200.
Main light-defused Flash setting on shelf and another on landing with a honeycomb snoot to light just the face. Both flashes were set for 1/128th power.
PP was photoshop & NIK Silver Efex Pro 2.

The main light was the biggest problem. Space limitation prevented creating a big enough light to weaking the railing shadow. Any suggestions??

Thanks for taking the time to look.

I love this. The lighting is exquisite for the scene and theme.

Thanks. I think the rail shadow is a little distracting, but I've been wrong before.

This photo tells a great story of the wonder of photography in the eyes of an innocent.

The story here is very clear. She loves seeing herself in fun poses. She must be a fun little girl. I don’t think the dark tones detracts at all. Her smile provides the necessary light!

Marvelous!
And when she is married, composit-in her wedding picture, with all due attention to perspective!
