My husband and I have had both shots (in February) and no reactions at all for either. Now let's see how long this lasts. I'm hoping we just need a booster on a yearly basis. I would do that.

I read on the internet, that the vaccination is supposed to be good for 6 months.
I have also read that they are working on other ways to take the vaccine. Someway to take orally I think.

Good for you!

Most of my extended family is now vaccinated, or scheduled to be. There is one brother-in-law and family who are science deniers. Sadly, they are VERY likely to catch the virus from similar folks in their circles. Their youngest daughter, who does not share their views, is old enough and smart enough to get vaccinated without her parents' consent.

One of my brothers-in-law finally caved and booked an appointment, just two weeks ahead of a wedding they planned and are officiating. Both his boss and his boss's wife have Covid 19 and are in bad shape. It took that and some pointed nagging from my mother-in-law to convince them to get jabbed.

Some folks just don't get it... I've had all the vaccinations for which I'm eligible. A sore arm and some nausea were the worst side effects of any of them. That's a small price to pay for not getting sick or infecting others!

If you're a hold-out, shame on you. Unless you have a proven allergy to any of the ingredients, get the vaccine! Herd immunity is the only way out of this mess.

Thankfully, medical scientific research had evolved to the point where it was possible to make multiple effective vaccines for this virus in a short amount of time. The advancements that led to these vaccines will be used to develop others.
