How does one end recurring costs for applications no longer needed?
I am not even sure I ordered some of them. I may have accidentally ordered them or long since forgotten that I did.

I will try calling but I have found they don’t seem to be available for a voice call, but only by texting.
Thanks for reply, much appreciated.

Depending on which applications they are, they may be included with the basic account. If these are additional to the basic, as suggested, give 'em a call and work it out from there.

Call your credit card company and have them deny the charges. It may take several tries, but they eventually will contact YOU.

IF would be helpful if you enumerated the applications in question. Some may be holdovers from the days of single purchase and are 'just existing on the HD'.

Depending on the payment method, stop the payment. I had an auto pay going to a life insurance company and when they informed me the premium was increasing by nearly 300%, I tried calling and terminating the policy. That was less than successful (got a lot of reasons why they should not terminate the policy, how it was difficult to terminate) so I went to my bank and completed a permanent stop payment for that account. I then had the bank move that payment amount into a new savings account I opened. I'm building a nice little amount that might be used for GAS attacks.

I have done this on a subscription based service once. My cc company told me the only way to stop the charge was to cancel the card & they would send me a new one.(obviously because I granted them permission to charge for the subscription) I said ok & 4 days later I had a new card & updated all services linked to the old card. By the way, it was AOL years ago.

My online subscription charges get charged to one card. That way I can do like you said and cancel the card if need be then update the other subscriptions as they come in. It helps remind me of who is getting my money plus it gives me the control when I need to cut the ties.

Go online (via the Creative Cloud app) with your Adobe ID and cancel or suspend your subscription.

I think canceling your Adobe account is a very bad idea!

Instead, open your Creative Cloud application and find the apps you want and the ones you don't want or don't recognize. It tells you the last time each app was updated. Write them them down so you can easily find the list of apps when you phone Adobe.

Then phone Adobe and ask for Adobe's billing department. Tell them who you are and, if asked, your Adobe account number.

Ask them what plan you're on, what apps are bundled in that plan, and how much you're paying for the plan and how often. Then ask if you're paying for any apps separately, and you can ask about your list of apps that you don't want or don't recognize.

Ask if there's a way to lower the cost of your plan including all the apps that you need.

That's what I did a couple of years ago, and because I was calm and pleasant, the person I was talking with was pleasant and helpful.

Also, calling early to mid-morning when the Adobe accounting people weren't being inundated by calls is a good idea.

Curious exactly what applications you are paying for that you feel you can eliminate to save money. I think most of us who subscribe to the Adobe Creative Cloud pay $9.99 (plus tax in most places) per month. That basically buys you Photoshop, Lightroom and Adobe Camera RAW. If you are paying more than that amount monthly then perhaps you are paying for some higher level attributes of Adobe CC that you probably don't need unless you're a really creative artist.
