My first was a Sony F707 and unless I experience something very dramatic, my last is a Sony RX10 IV. 5 Canon DSLR’s in-between.

Not very important, but it just occurred to me.

Maybe after the Pandemic, I may have an unforeseen GAS attack, but my current Sony seems to satisfy my photographic appetite.

Never say never!!

The EOS R5 will change how we think about mirrorless, how we think about photography, how we think about life.

Thanks, Paul. They have not yet created a camera to change how I “think about life”!
Mirrorless and photography- maybe

I'm waiting for Nikons reply to the R5.
I've too much Nikon glass to capitulate.

Z9?
Currently "in development" i.e. vaporware.

“Last” isn’t a term normally applied to cameras for photographers! Better soften it with “for now”.

My first was Nikon D80. Then a D90. Then to D600. D610. Now D850. No where else to go. The 850 is the best there is and im getting too damn old to buy anymore. However there is one more lens Id like to buy

I keep on shooting with my old dSLR cameras and when it comes to mirrorless I have been more than satisfied with my Olympus M43 bodies, also old cameras by the way.
I do not know which one will be my "last camera" since I am approaching 85 years of age but surely I feel I am doing pretty good with what I have.
For sure that Z9 is not for me.

There is a cult forming around "the one". There is be only one of "the one". When you get "the one" you will see the light.

I also started out with a 707 and liked it so much that I purchased the 828 when it came out. The only thing I disliked was the amount of color fringing in high contrast situations.
